California. San Rafael. We were in our hotel room and about to drive back to San Francisco for our last day in the city. An email with good news came in and I danced for the first time in months. L played dj with the clock radio. Time stopped.
Berkeley. Lunch with old friends.
NYC. A surprise meet-up with one of my college roommates in front of Babycakes.
Massachusetts. Plum Island. We waited on the beach for the storm that never came.
Martha’s Vineyard. The ocean blurred by as we biked on the path.
The Warhol inspired Campbell soup can corn maze.
We made rolled homemade tortellini on their kitchen table with help from the toddlers.
We sat by the window at the Green Street Cafe and rediscovered what it felt like to be us, alone.
